Hand-carved wooden print block used for block printing on textiles and paper. Made with hand holes at the back for easy use and several small holes to release air and extra dye during the printing process. The teakwood block is soaked in oil for 10 days before using to soften the grains of the wood. The creation of print blocks is very extensive and time-consuming.
Vintage Indian wooden printing blocks are now very popular with interior designers for wall art.
